so the 15th amendment did this ---> The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude. If i remember correctly at first it was hardly enforced, but now its more enforced because people are more accepting today than they were back then, but dont take my word on it any who, as you can see today being from the south and what nots, the amendment is still very much effective here. As well as any other place in america. Hope i help thad xD
