Mr. Means was shopping at Marc’s grocery store, and needed to by some soda. He wanted the best deal because he is not picky. Two signs caught his eye: Coke products were on sale: Three 12-packs for $ 8.25 7-up products were also on sale: Four 12-packs for $ 11.40 a) Which company’s product will Mr. Means buy? b) Give the unit rate of each product to prove that that is the soda that Mr. Means will buy. c) Pepsi Products were five 12-packs for 14.75; how much do they have to lower their price per 12-pack box to be equal to Coke’s sale price per box?
