Winds in the Northern Hemisphere are deflected to the right, and winds in the Southern Hemisphere are deflected to the left. What causes this pattern? A. the earth revolving around the sun B. the earth’s tilt C. the earth’s rotation D. sunlight

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

the earth’s rotation, i think

Its C ^.^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. Because the Earth's rotation causes the sun to heat the Earth unevenly, which then causes the coriolis effect, and finally after all that, you get wind. Hope this helps! :)
