Hello. Is it just me or does the following question not make sense?
START:
Question: 1 out of every 90 children in America has autism, what percentage of children in America has autism?
Steps:
1. Write Proportion
2. Find Cross Products
3. Use Algebra to solve for x. Get x by itself by dividing.
END

Clearly the proportion is
1/90=0.011
So 1.1% of children in America have autism.

Why does it ask for a cross product??? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!
