How are the circulatory systems in animals and plants alike? A. All plants and animals have a heart. B. Their circulatory systems move blood throughout the organism. C. Their circulatory systems transport nutrients to cells. D. Both plants and animals have a pulmonary circuit.

OpenStudy (zale101):

Both plant and animals have similar circulatory system by transporting nutritional substances throughout the whole organism. Plants use vascular tissues such as xylem and phloem to conduct water, minerals, nutrients, and other substances through the plant. Animals cells on the other hand uses arteries and veins (we also do). Arteries for carrying out blood away from the heart and veins to carry blood in the heart. Nutrients and gases are exchanged in this process.
