You should use the trigonometry fuctions here . tan ( 60 ) = y / 8 . Then use tan inverse to calculate y .Similarly you can use cos 60 = 8 / x and then cos inverse 60 * 8 = x to calculate x . The moderator warned me to not give the exact answer !
