:/ This is beyond me sry

Can you do area?

OpenStudy (phi):

do you see points S and R ? can you find the slope between S and R ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3/-3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the other is 3/3?

OpenStudy (phi):

almost... you have to be careful about the signs. R is (-2,5) S is (-5,2) what is change in y divide by change in x ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that a formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldnt that be 3/3 then

OpenStudy (phi):

yes, the slope from S to R is 3/3 or 1 the slope from U to V is -1 notice that if you multiply them: 1* -1 = -1 you get -1, which is true for all perpendicular lines. \[ m_1 \cdot m_2 = -1 \]
