A couple of the points I would like to hit are the likelihood of Japan's surrender with the entry of the Soviet Union and also the number of Japanese civilians killed in the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

try looking up japans surrender in whatever year this happened.

I did but I couldn't find anything about them surrendering with the entry of the soviet union.
