how is personification used in this passage: He almost got fat and they took great pride in him. New lies sprung up about his freemule doings... he ran Mrs. Tully off the croquet ground for having such an ugly shape...caught up with Becky Anderson...to keep his head out of the sun under her umbrella...But way after a while he died. Lum found him under the big tree on his rawbony back with all four feet in the air...He had seen Death coming and had stood his ground and fought like a natural man. He had fought it to the last breath.

Who is he...? Does it not say? Because it is giving human like qualities to whoever "He" is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Personification is giving human like qualities to something usually not human like an animal and such...I guess I would say whoever "He" is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is dog raw bony back with four foots

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would he ran Mrs. Tully off the croquet ground for having such an ugly shape be personification? @savvvvannahh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I would put

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe, Lum found him under the big tree on his rawbony back with all four feet in the air
