How has urbanization in Brazil impact people?

First of all, urbanization = increasing growth of a population of people in an urban area. The causes of urbanization could be job opportunities, quality of life, environmental conditions which tend to affect more agricultural areas, etc. Urbanization in Brazil impacts its people poorly because of the rate of urbanization. The extremely huge increase in urbanization leads to a shortage of homes, increased crime rate, and a lack of resources that occurs when there's overpopulation in an area that doesn't have enough to support its inhabitants. Also, there are town-like establishment called favelas which are commonly around the urban areas of Brazil in which its living conditions are barely decent if not at all. Basically, it's a town of "crudely-built shacks."
