A teaser, again. :)) A number of children are standing in a circle. They are evenly spaced and the 7th child is directly opposite the 18th child. How many children are there altogether?

@ParthKohli

hartnn (hartnn):

is it 24 ?

hartnn (hartnn):

2 (18-7) +2

Parth (parthkohli):

Right, the first child is opposite to the 24th child. Although I wonder what actually is meant by the "nth" child.

@hartnn @Parthkohli Try again. :)) Almost but not quite.

hartnn (hartnn):

then 22 :/

hartnn (hartnn):

first i excluded those 2, so half of them on right side of diameter and other half on left, so 2*11, then i included those 2 again, but it seems, i should not have excluded them, considering them too would be correct thing to do.

You got it... :)))
