to find x, multiply both side equation by 12

then just evaluate

ok... so in the 2nd equation you have a some parallel lines



so using the alternate angles in parallel lines property, you can get an angle in the triangle...

so what ratio do you need, since you need to find the hypotenuse, its either sin or cos
