If y=m^4=n^3 and y is greater than 1, then mn=? a. y^1/12 b. y^1/7 c. y^7/12 d. y^7 e. y^12

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

If \[y=m^4\]what does \(m=\) in terms of \(y\)? If \[y = n^3\]what does \(n=\) in terms of \(y\)? Multiply those two expressions together. Remember, you add the exponents when multiplying exponentials with the same base. Do you see the answer?
