why are centrioles good?

OpenStudy (zale101):

centrioles are mitotic spindle fibers that appear during cell division to hook chromosomes. It is arranged differently in different mitotic phases. This is how they are cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Centrioles help to line up the doubled chromosomes during mitosis, and the centrioles help to ensure that they are on the proper sides of the cell so that when the cell divides, the chromosomes divide properly as well.
