Where do I keep messing up at? (8p2+3p+7)–(3p+5) 8p2+6p2+5 what am I doing wrong?

OpenStudy (hesan):

there is a mistake in the last two terms..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you multiply the - sign in the second brackets you basically put + sign instead of - sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So how do I fix it?

OpenStudy (hesan):

3p - 3p = 0 and 7 - 5 = 2 So the final answer is 8p^2 +2

Thank you.

OpenStudy (hesan):
