Oh, okay, well, if the parentheses is preceded by a + sign (like the second pair of parentheses) then you can treat them as if they weren't there ^_^

However, if the parentheses is preceded by a - sign instead (like the third pair), then remove the parentheses, but IMPORTANTLY, *CHANGE THE SIGN* of every term inside the parenteses:
