Precalc help please? How do I graph these parametric equations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x=\cos^2t\] and \[y=\sin^2t\]

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I can think of 3 ways in which to do this: (1) eliminate t by solving one of the two given equations for t and substituting the result into the other equation; (2) make a table of x and y values dependent on t values, e. g., 0 <= t <= 2pi, and then graph the resulting points and connecting the points (3) use a graphing calculator, such as the TI-84, set in PARAMETRIC mode.

Oh okay, I guess I'll use my TI-84 since it seems easiest xP thanks!

OpenStudy (mathmale):

My pleasure. Hope this sets you on fire (at least, in terms of enthusiasm and success).
