Water has 5 times the heat capacity as soil. If I add the same amount of heat to the same amount of water and soil, I find the temperature of the soil increases to 50°C. What is the temperature of the water?

water has 5 TIMES heat capacity .. best way to think of heat capacity is like, how much heat a material can absorb without raising the temperature much i can give u an analogy.. think of water in a beaker, water is like heat, level of water is like temperature if i have two beakers, A has twice the capacity of B (same kind of beakers but different base areas) and i say i put same amount of water into both, and B was found to have come to height h. To what height do you think A would come to? if you thought half ? then you are right.. cause A has twice the capacity make sense?
