do you mean like counting in different bases for example we normally use 10 decimal but binary is base 2 ex 111 in binary to base 10 = 7

always use the base 10 to change from one base to the other if the bases are not multiples of each other

im not talking about log bases. im talking about number bases. like base 10, base 2, base 12, like base 12 would have 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A, and B

what I normally do is, use base10 as the linking bridge two the other bases all the time. from the starting base to base10 and then from base10 to the final base
