please help! how do you find radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the circumfrence is 6ft

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Well you know that \[\text{circumference} = 2\pi\times r\] So given the circumference you need only divide both sides by 2pi to isolate the radius...and solve so in your case \[r = \frac{6ft}{2pi}\]

so its either a or c

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Umm...I'm assuming that 'n' in their case must be a substitute for pi so I would go with C

okay thank you
