i just keep trying to solve it but dont understanfd how ? i have a test on it tuesday What is the range for the following set of ordered pairs: {(6,2), (6, -1), (6, -5), (6, 0)} the answers Range = {6} Range = {6, 6, 6, 6} Range = {2, -1, -5} Range = {2, -1, -5, 0}

OpenStudy (mathmale):

The "range" is just the set of all possible output (y) values. Look at the given points: {(6,2), (6, -1), (6, -5), (6, 0)} List the y-values ONLY; do not worry about the x-values: the possible y values are: { } You fill this in, please.

2 ,-1,-5,0 ?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

That is correct!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are u serious that was all omg thank you !! i feel so stupid haha

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Congrats! Very glad to have been of some help to y ou.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Right...when they ask for range, you focus only on the y-values If they asked for the domain...you would focus only on the x-values
