OpenStudy (tester97):

i think its B

OpenStudy (tester97):

also do you know the difference between supplementary and complementary angles?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

this question depends heavily on your knowledge of vocabulary such as complementary, supplementary, adjacent, congruent, vertical and the like. I'll give you one hint: Angles 1 and 4 are adjacent to one another. What does that mean? What other, additional descriptor is there for angles 1 and 4?

OpenStudy (tester97):

Oh wait i meant 4 is B i didnt see 5 and i think its A but its been a while since i did geometry so im not 100% sure

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Keke: By telling you that angles 1 and 4 are "adjacent," I helped you eliminate the fourth possible answer. Now you have only 3 answers from which to choose. Please look up "complementary" and "supplementary" and use y our findings to select the correct answer from these 3.

@tester97 uhh k ill just try ur answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmale can you verify my answers please? 4.b 5.a

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I agree with your choice of answer for #4. Next time, please explain how you got your answer. I did not remember what a "vertical angle" is, so did an Internet search. Here's what surfaced: https://www.google.com/search?q=vertical+angle&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS461US461&oq=vertical+angle&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.2082j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8 My choice of answer for #5 was obtained primarily by eliminating the last three answer choices (all of which are statements that I agree with). That leaves the first statement as the only reasonable answer to #5. So yes, I agree with your answer.
