Height is not a force

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Read the question carefully.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Well, is height a force? ;P

OpenStudy (roadjester):

ok, my internet connection is really bad right now Force is in Newtons N=kg m / s^2 height is a distance and is in meters.

"Kinetic energy is linked to potential energy. As the ball moves from higher potential to lower potential; its kinetic energy increases, and vice-versa." 40 min ago

OpenStudy (roadjester):

I'm thinking both. The airplane has a velocity and assuming you know mass, you'll have kinetic energy. You're above the ground so you have potential becasue if the plane falls, you're going to have energy in order to fall The skydiver also has potential energy. He's in freefall so I'm pretty sure he has kinetic.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Any object that is moving has KE Any object that COULD potentially drop to a lower height, has PE
