Someone pleeeeasssee help me with these two questions, I'm pleading. :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? That isn't very helpful. I just need help with these two questions and that's it 1. For which pair of integers are both points the same distance from 4 on the number line? 2. What is the distance between the points the points named by (-2,3) and (-2,-7) on the coordinate plane? Those are the two questions and that's it. I just want somebody to be helpful. :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the distance formula for the 2 question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't understand the first question two integers equidistant from 4 on the number line? could be 3 and 5 could be 2 and 6 could be 1 and 7 etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my answers are A. -1 and 10 B. -2 and 8 C. -3 and 9 D. -2 and 10 for that question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since \((-2,3)\) and \((-2,-7)\) find the number half way between \(3\) and \(-7\) i.e. take their average

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. -2 and 10 \(|-2-4|=6\) and \(|10-4|=6\) they are both 6 units away

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wow where did you find that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? in my head

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i thought you got that from a website or something cause it looks like a image

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, i drew it with the "draw tool" | \ |/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh cool. thanks again! and did you say the second question was B. 4?
