HEEELPPPPP PLEASEEE ! What is the equation of the quadratic graph with a focus of (6, 0) and a directrix of y = −10 ? f(x) = −one twentieth (x − 6)2 + 5 f(x) = −one twentieth (x − 6)2 − 5 f(x) = one twentieth (x − 6)2 + 5 f(x) = one twentieth (x − 6)2 − 5

OpenStudy (mathmale):

May I assume that you know the meaning of "focus" and "directrix"? If so, you probably already know that the vertex of this parabola (quadratic) is exactly half-way between the focus and directrix. Can you state the coordinates of the vertex?
