I happen to like the admins they are cool. It just takes time to respond to the pm because they get thousands of them a day so just be patient young grasshopper.

Again, there's only one developer, so things take quite a while to get fixed. Be patient. Also, admins and mods are usually really busy, as they have lots of things to deal with on the website every day and they have lives outside of OS. So, #ohyiypoyoyylylyoyiyoyooolloolyoyoylyoyoy

There are well over 1000 people on here daily. Average 3000 new users a day. It's hard for administration to respond to everything at once. Especially when there are trolls. It's not our fault we can't reply to you right away.

You know they are really busy and the only reason why problems aren't yet being fixed cause it's a continual fixing process. Each new account that is put on OS means that they have to save into file make this site be able to get working that is why you see OS always shutting down~ they are fixing the problems and stuff like that. It's complicated process they just don't sit around and do nothing. The mods and Ambis volunteer for free~ they do a lot of work to keep this site running. Thank you mods! :)

This isn't meant to be a social networking site. Only for getting help, socializing can happen here but that's not the main purpose. There's other sites you can use if you need socializing.

THe reason there are tech problems is because they wanna make more money by untroducing more adds. I notice every time they do that they mess up OS for a while.

Well, they have to keep the website up somehow, timo, and subscriptions aren't cutting it, so they kinda have to put ads on the website.

Hi,

Administrators are busy people - as are moderators. Everyone has social lives', so sometimes we can't get around to your message until later. It may take a day or two. Believe it or not - moderators are busy people, always enforcing the Code of Conduct.

When you see a moderator online and he's not taking action, nine/ten times, he's away from his keyboard. There are some minor issues with moderation nowadays that make things a little difficult.

Also, finding programmers for OpenStudy is hard, because OpenStudy uses rare languages. Not many people are fluent in the type of programming OpenStudy uses. Therefore, programmers are hard to come by, and when you do, it's usually at a costly price.

Admins do a lot of work behind the scenes (i.g., maintaining the servers, promoting the side, running social networks), and, like all people, the Administrators (Yes, Preetha, too) has a social life. Even though she loves every OpenStudier, she can't spend 24/7 on here (as much as she'd like too!) because she has duties in her life she must attend to.

The same goes for Ambassadors. And, believe it or not, there are have a lot of major changes to the site on the backend. The staff puts forth tremendous effort to improve OpenStudy.

There was a time there where no ads. Now it seems it has more ads then FB. Does fb just need to be up? nope they care about money.

It's a harsh reality, but OpenStudy needs money to pay for the programming cost and the servers. That's why I help by donating (and have no ads).
