Here is a method that I would like to share with you when doing division with negative integers or fractions. Whenever, you see positive and positive or negative and negative, leave the answer as POSITIVE. If you see a positive and negative together, you leave the answer as NEGATIVE.

can you help me though please

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Yes.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

tell me in which are you have a difficulty with.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like the problem in general

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Ur dividing fractions so u wanna remember this "kcf", which means keep, change, flip.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Keep the first fraction, change the division to mutliplication, and flip (or find the reciprocal) of the second fraction.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

But don't think about the negative fraction yet just think it's all with positive fractions.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

After you find the quotient, then flow with the post that I posted first. Okay?
