I honesty dont get this question at all? Point A(–4, 2) is reflected over the line x = 3 to create the point A'. What are the coordinates of A'?

I think with any geometry problem, things can be taken in better when we draw the graph. Have you drawn that already?

yes but i just didnt get it like the list of answers it gave me the way i did it none of them were the answer so im confused as to what to do exactly

Ah, okay. From this question I can think of one thing that might throw off the result is remembering that x=3 is a vertical line on the x-y plane. It is made up of all the points (3, y) where y is free to be any number. Like this: |dw:1392670283969:dw|
