When the equation Si(s) + HF(aq) ® SiF4(g) + H2(g) is balanced, what is the coefficient for HF?

OpenStudy (roadjester):

\[\huge Si + 4HF \rightarrow SiF_4 + 2H_2\] I haven't done chemistry in a while so I'm not too sure on that. There are specific rules for aqueous and solids that I can't recall.

I am pretty sure 4 was right! Thanks!!

OpenStudy (roadjester):
