Solve the inequality: |x + 2| < 5

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

rule is like when |a| < b you get a < b and a > -b so |x+2| < 5 becomes x+2 < 5 and x+2 > -5 solve for both separately

I know a I got 3 and -7. But I got either one or both of these wrong.
