Skew lines are described by two phrases here: "they do not intersect" and "they are not parallel" Are you familiar with that terminology (intersect and parallel)?
While it might not be the most exciting thing in the world to do, learning vocabulary BEFORE your test will almost unfailingly help you to do better because you'll better understand what you're being asked for.
