Find the measure of an angle such that the measure of its supplement is 54 degrees more than twice that of its supplement.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's call the angle A. Supplement means the angle that, when added to the first, makes the whole thing equal to 180 degrees. Let's call A's supplement B. A+B=180. From your directions, B=2B+54. -B=54. B=-54. Angles can't be negative, so this is not possible (unless I read wrong).
