HELP! Write the equation in slope-intercept form. What are the slope and y-intercept? -11x + 9y = -12 A. y = 11/9x - 4/3 slope: 11/9 y-intercept: 4/3 B. y = 11/9x - 4/3 slope: 11/9 y-intercept: -4/3 C. y = -11/9x + 4/3 slope: 11/9 y-intercept: 4/3 D. y = 11/9x + 4/3 slope: 4/3 y-intercept: 11/9

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2 are obviously wrong, can you narrow it down any?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think D and A are wrong.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

correct so far .... so of B and C, which one are you leaning towards and why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B because is shows the y-intercept as -4/3 and the number in the equation is -12

OpenStudy (amistre64):

B is correct, and that is a good assumption :)

Thanks so much. :)

youre welcome
