Anyone taken the Unit 2 Polynomials and Faactorting test?

OpenStudy (demandandsupply):

Factorising?

OpenStudy (hackergod):

Factoring

OpenStudy (demandandsupply):

I could see what i can do?

OpenStudy (hackergod):

4x^10-9x^10 Wouldn't this be -5x^20

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

1. attempting to cheat on tests is not allowed 2. we mostly go to a lot of different school, like I could have a Unit 2 Trigonometry Anti-Derivatives, which is obviously not what you have...

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yes to the -5 part no to the x^20

OpenStudy (demandandsupply):

it remains ^10

OpenStudy (demandandsupply):

but other than that yes, ie. -5x^10

OpenStudy (hackergod):

Im not cheting ? im checking my answers I thought you add the squares?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

add the exponents when multiplying two variable values

OpenStudy (demandandsupply):

x^10 is very similar to using just 'x', you're only really doing 5-9

OpenStudy (demandandsupply):

sorry 4-9

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yup yup :) like 4x - 9x doesn't become -5x^2

OpenStudy (hackergod):

ohhh! sorry, I got multiplying and addding mixed up

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

and about my comment from before, sorry abt tht :P then questions are phrased that way, most of the time they're just looking to cheat. happens a lot...

OpenStudy (hackergod):

oh.. yeah i can see that. your fine :) Sorry for coming across like that!

OpenStudy (hackergod):

Coulld you tell me how to find this?
