Here the "unit rate" is nothing more than the familiar measure of "miles per hour." Anna rides 20 miles in how many hours? (Please check the original problem statement.) Julia rides 246 miles in 16 hours, and thus her speed / rate is 246 miles -------- 16 hours =15 3/8 mph
