Its really simple, all you have to do is go up 2 then when you go over one it lands on a point. You always have to make it land on a point it cannot go on the line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The line is a positive line therefore you would have a positive slope. If we start at point (-1,1) and go up 2 and to the right 1 we reach a point at (0,3) 2/1 is the slope, you can simplify that to 2. 2 is the slope.
