Which line is parallel to 2x + 4y = 6?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Well, hard to say without any choices! But I can tell you this: it will have the same slope as the line \(2x+4y=6\). You can find the slope of the line by solving that equation for \(y\), giving you slope-intercept form: \[y = mx+b\]\(m\) is the slope, and \(b\) is the y-value of the y-intercept. Parallel lines have equal slopes. Your line will have the same slope as you determine for this line.
