what is the probably of two tall pea plants, heterozygous for the tall allele, producing a short pea plant A. 75% B.50% C.20% D. 0%
@lacipage12
can you help? @PurpleUnicornn7771234
Okay do you know how to make an allele punnet square?
50% i guess
kindve
actually yes
actually i am possitive it is 50%
You do great! Make one and you shall find your answer remember that heterogous makes a tall pea plant and obiviously dominant would too so the only way a small pea plant would be made is by a recessive and I am pretty sure it is 20% but you are smart and have learned this so go with what you think is right:)
http://www.nature.com/scitable/topicpage/the-variety-of-genes-in-the-gene-6526291 go to this site to review punnet square and gene and phenotypes hope this helps
thanks. if i get it right i will give you a medal. haha im jking ill give you one either way
actually its 25% not 20%
@PurpleUnicornn7771234
close this question, please
why?
Because it's been solved
ummm okay
But you had no choice for 25?
Well any way, I am sorry I was wrong, I would have probably picked 25 if it were a choice. Sorry :( byeee
