Do you know how to find whether two lines are perp or par?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, I looked them up. None of them are parallel because none of the slopes match. As for perpendicular... I subtracted the slopes and that is what I was trying to figure out if i did that correctly or do i divide them. They're perpendicular if it equals -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes if the m1*m2=-1 they are perp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, i multiply them, okay. let me redo it. what about the next question? is that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m1=-3/5 m2=-5/3 m3=5/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes the next one is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool, I got it. The middle one (1&2) are perp.
