How to calculate the maximum voltage across a capacitor that is in parallel with a 620kOhm resistor, and they are in series with a 1.5MOhm resistor. This is all hooked up to a 120V battery.

I'm not sure about the start-up, but once it reaches equilibrium, the voltage across the capacitor will be the same as the voltage across the resistor it is in parallel with, 602kohm. That resistor is in series with 1500 kohm, so it gets [620/(620+1500)]120= 35.1 V of the total 120 V voltage drop.
