Can someone explain how to do this kind of problem? -> A rectangle cardboard has a length of 9 cm and a width of 4 cm.What is the area of the cardboard?

OpenStudy (secret66):

Formula of a rectangle: Length*Width=Area Length=9 Width=9 9*4=36

OpenStudy (secret66):

*Width=4

since cardboard is of rectangular shape, we know the formula to find the are of a rectangle, which is given as Area of rectangle = length *breadth =9 cm * 4cm = 36 sq cm Hence, the area of the cardboard = 36 sq cm @infinity326
