Will give out medals. Is the group of words a sentence or a run-on sentence?


You can stand on the sand, but it will be hot on your feet.

it's a sentence because you is the subject and stand is the verb, on the sand is the prepositional phrase, and so is the second part of the sentence connected by the comma. so she's right, it's b.
