OpenStudy (j2lie):

Is my poem good? Today is sunny There was a pile of leaves I heard a child's grieves What I saw was not funny The leaves were red The road was bumpy The child did not understand what she perceives So she misconceives The wind was gusty I saw how she dreds Is it good?

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Not much meaning in it, and dreds should be dreads. We don't know why the kid is sad though.

OpenStudy (j2lie):

what does dreads mean?

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

dread /dred/ verb 3rd person present: dreads 1. Anticipate with great apprehension or fear.

OpenStudy (j2lie):

I thought it meant sadness
