a good president does not have to be very good in different specialized fields, but the one thing he must posses is able to appoint people with enough talent to help him lead. That is why our president in the United States has cabinets

look at the choices and if particular area would require a member in the cabinet, such as department of foreign affairs (foreign ministry in other countries) then that quality is not something the president would need to be really good at.
