So confused..please help. I need to find the area of this figure they say is a composite figure. But isn't this just a Trapezoid?

so that would be...Area of trapezoid = (b1 + b2)•h

by composite figure they mean trapezoid is composed of a rectangle and a triangle, you can calculate the areas of both then add them together. but your way is much faster :)
