Hey this is my 1st 'real' Poem...Answer as honestly as possible without crushing all my dreams...

And you played the part
Of the boy in my dreams
Who was tearing at the seams.
You helped me to see
What I could be
If I were to try
To get by
In someone else's shoes.

I can not believe
You helped me to see
What life would be like
If I weren't to flee
From every little thing.
You told me a lie
But I will get by.
I wish you could see
What I have grown to be
Without you today
You helped me to say,
"I can live my life without yous."
