Answer this for me, Please and Thank you! >.< A kitchen floor is made up of tiles that are in the shape of the triangle shown. There are 40 tiles on the kitchen floor. What is the total area of the floor? 1.5 ft^2 41.5 ft^2 60 ft^2 120 ft^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cannot see triangle, but its area will be A = (1/2) base x height. Kitchen area will be 40 A.

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

Could you describe or show us the triangle, please?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

@BellaNina865 Could you find the area of a single triangle?

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

The area of each triangle equals the base times the height, as douglas stated: \[area = 1.5ft \times 2 ft\] Since there are forty of these triangles: \[answer = 40 * area\]
