Find the lower quartile, the median, and the upper quartile of the following set of numbers. 112, 122, 143, 115, 141, 105, 150, 141

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Have you re-arranged these data points in ascending order? What is n, the number of data points? How do y ou find the median when the # of data points is even?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea how to do this

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I hope very much that you'll look up "box plot" and learn how to identify the the lower quartile, the median, and the upper quartile of a set of data points. I know this material thoroughly, but think you'd benefit more from researching this problem and trying a solution yourself first than from simply accepting my explanations and answers.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please re-arrange the data points in ascending order.
