Need HELP Will Medal! Write the proof, statements and reasoning that ... line AC is congruent to line BD.

@LukeBlueFive |dw:1392916700660:dw| Except they didn't give me any information... soo im really lost

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

Start off with what you're given. Angles CBA and BAD are equal (given). Angles CAB and ABD are equal, since all right angles are equal.

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

Triangles CAB and ABD share a side AB, so that side must be equal.

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

Now that you have two equal angles and an equal side, you can prove they are congruent by ASA (Angle Side Angle).

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

Lastly, what is true about congruent triangles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they are exactly the same?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would I write the statement for AAL (angle angle leg)

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

Exactly, so their sides are equal, or congruent.

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

Well, the long version would be that according to Angle Side Angle theorem (or whatever it's called), two triangles that have the same lengths for two of their sides, with equal angles between them, must be congruent.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool thanks uv been a ton of help... but are you good at completing or filling in "flow proof" charts?

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

They seem like a type of proof, so I'm up for it.
