Synthesis of one protein cannot take place without the presence of another protein.” Is this statement true or false and why? This statement is false because only DNA and RNA can carry out protein synthesis, which involves transcription and translation. This statement is false because protein synthesis can take place directly with the help of amino acids. This statement is true because every step in protein synthesis requires enzymes, which are nothing but proteins. @handyandy3

C. Because protein synthesis are carried out by ribosomes as well, and ribosomes are made of a protein subunit. So without pre-existing ribosomes (protein) you can't make new ones. ( Im pretty sure this is right )
